Passion vs Practicality

A very good issue to talk to, does practicality comes first before everything else? Maybe that is a question you asked yourself or others when choosing your designated or should I say enforced path going to college, work, and etc. Maybe you are tired and exasperated doing things that you did not like to, or maybe a parent who made your dreams alive in your kids yet has this great regret on not doing or having the same thing. I assume that most of us has this great "regret" since we cannot do the things that we loved the most. As for this matter, practicality comes due to the fact that this certain notion inculcated in our guardians or advisers was the tradition passed on hand and hand. As I presume, these elders does like the best for us but the best we see in ourselves is doing the thing that we dearly admired. One thing I learned as I encountered this but on a "not that severe" manner, choose what you love the most and make them understand how you feel about it. Maybe you will not earn tons of money but you will earn the best thing that you will ever have, yourself. You will find your identity as you go through with your passion and from there, it will bloom the success that you wanted to have. For the time being, you need to work the hardest in a different way, it is a mysterious path that you will go through, help yourself, grind without them knowing, make yourself the strongest, and keep your heads up despite different difficulties. As my father said, "In any matter that you will do, in any field of expertise, or in any circumstance, unleash the best out of yourself so that you can be the best and when that time comes by, money will never matter." Choose what you love, it will drive you to yourself and your inner self will give the beacon that you desired the most.
