Recuerdo: A Happy Tragedy

It was really strange for he
To recall a memory
On that day, happiness
For today, sadness

As he walked down the alleyway
Afraid to enter the play
Of regaining consciousness
To the things remained past faces

He stop and stare, reminisces
Approaching the place of promises
He stopped and wonder
If the day could last longer

As he stayed for a while
Smelled like senile
That wonderful fragrance
That smell gave him a glance

The freedom he had now
It seemed to be like a tremendous foul
Eager for he wanted to go by the day
The memories blew him away

All he had was pen and guitar
Looking at her from afar
Tarrega, what a precious memory
Tasked only to leave a harmony

You cannot turn back the clock
When the birds left the flock
All remains is a nest
Where all rest is the best

What a happy tragedy
Of an enormous memory
Be free! Go on and let it be!
That words was really easy

If the moment gave he the luxury
Go back to those moments and see
To visit the place again
It was really a memory, all of a sudden

All was left for me was memory
I really wanted to be free
Those memories really made him happy
And to recall is to prolong his agony.
